"Service rests on the basic premise that the nature of life is sacred, that life is a holy mystery which has an unknown purpose. When we serve, we know that we belong to life and to that purpose. Fundamentally, helping, fixing, and service are ways of seeing life. When you help you see life as weak, when you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole. From the perspective of service, we are all connected: All suffering is like my suffering and all joy is like my joy. The impulse to serve emerges naturally and inevitably from this way of seeing."

As a licensed practitioner of the healing arts and life-long learner I am fascinated by the body's innate ability to heal itself.
We seek for resources and tools to assist us. When we do find those things that speak to us we can tap into a very deep and personal source of healing and transformation.
"Chelsea brings to the session the embodiment of sincere love and kindness...her intuition and presence seems to guide the session to exactly what I need at the time. She has a way of including you in the session that makes it feel customized...Chelsea listens to your needs and makes the session centered on providing relief. I feel that Chelsea is an advocate for my personal well-being and not just a massage therapist. I will be a long-term client of hers! Just talking about our sessions makes me wish I was on the table right now!” — Brandon
"Chelsea's massages helped me through my pregnancy. From morning sickness to swelling and muscle aches, she has the knowledge, skills, and comforting presence to provide relief for many circumstances. I felt comfortable with Chelsea immediately. She creates around her a caring, safe space where one can just let go, relax, and heal. She is always so in tune with you and what your body may need. Because of her massage training, her experience as a doula, and the fact that she is a mother herself, she brings understanding and real life experience to her body work that not many other healers have been able to provide. I am grateful that the mothers and mothers to be in Portland now have such a resource in Chelsea Bay." — Laura
“I've had the pleasure of seeing Chelsea over the last several months for restorative care. My experience has been lovely! Chelsea is a wonderful healer and incredibly talented at her craft. Don't let her small size fool you, she is quite strong and powerful. Recently, she convinced me to try cupping for a troublesome shoulder. What a positively sublime treatment! Chelsea does more than treat the body, her soothing voice and positive energy sooth the mind and spirit as well. I highly recommend her for any tenderness, pain, or fatigue.” — Samantha
“Chelsea is amazing! She has a real nurturing and fun vibe. I always feel I'm being well taken care of every time. She listens well and addresses any issues I've been having. She's very strong (which I love) but checks in about pressure and makes sure I'm comfortable. She's got a great intuition about getting to the root of any problems I'm experiencing…”- Ted
“Chelsea is fabulous! I have received a lot of bodywork through the years. Chelsea is a very gifted manual therapist. Not only does she address physical ailments, she also hold space for healing on emotional levels too. She has many modalities that are incorporated into the work (gua sha, cupping, visceral work, and more). Getting on Chelsea's table is not just about massage, it is an experience. Her nurturing presence and phenomenal therapeutic techniques make each session healing and joyful!” -Melissa
